Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Neurobank mobile application (the "App") and the neurobank.app website (together, the "Service"), operated by Neurobank ("we," "us"). By downloading or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Neurobank is, and is not

Neurobank offers reasoning exercises and produces an IQ-style estimate and related scores. The Service is for educational and entertainment purposes only. Scores are informal estimates generated on your device from your answers and response times. They are not a clinical, psychological, medical, or professionally administered IQ test; they are not validated for diagnostic use; and they must not be used for medical, educational, employment, or any other consequential decisions.

2. No accounts; results live on your device

The App does not use accounts. Your answers, scores, and progress are stored only on your device. If you delete the App or erase its data, your results are permanently lost and cannot be recovered by us. Starting a new test permanently replaces your previous result.

3. Purchases

All purchases are billed by Apple through your Apple ID. We never see or store your payment details.

• Single test (one-time purchase). Unlocks one full test and its complete results. It is consumed when you start another test, and as a consumable purchase it is not restorable after being used or after deleting the App's data.
• Weekly subscription (auto-renewing). Includes one new test per rolling seven-day period while active. The subscription renews automatically each week at the price shown at purchase unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your device's App Store subscription settings. Unused weekly tests do not accumulate.

Prices are shown in the App before purchase and may vary by region. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms; we cannot issue refunds directly. You can restore an active subscription with the "Restore" option in the App.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to reverse engineer it, interfere with its operation, misrepresent its outputs as clinical results, or use it in violation of applicable law. The Service is intended for users aged 13 and over.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including the Neuro character, question content, designs, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control, consistent with the App Store Terms of Service. You may share your own score card images freely.

6. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT SCORES ARE ACCURATE MEASURES OF INTELLIGENCE OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US THROUGH THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

8. Changes

We may update the Service and these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date; continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
